The members of ”The Boy’s Choir,” consists of approximately 16 wonderfully grown up boys, and together we are the Gay Mens Choir of Copenhagen. We believe that our choir is the best place to sing, because here we are a like-minded group who enjoy having a good time together, both when we meet for practice and when we meet for social events.
Our age range is from 25-60 years old. The choir has existed since 1998, and several of the members have been in the choir from the beginning.

The Boy’s Choir performs a wide variety of vocal music, from classical to Broadway. (Including international? Or sung in different languages?)

The choir has had several conductors during the years. Since the spring 2004, we have had the very skilled conductor Kasper Beck Hemmingsen as our leader.

Kasper is educated from Nordjysk Konservatorium, and has already gained a large experience in leading ensembles and choirs.

The Boy’s choir practices every Thursday at 7.30 pm to 10 pm, from mid August to mid June, at Frederiksberg Musikhøjskole, Smallegade 3, 2000 Frederiksberg.

The Boy’s Choir is a part of Musikhøjskolens Aftenskole (evening school program), and prices for participation can be found at their webpage. (Insert web address here) In addition to the participation fee, members can expect to incure additional charges for such things as concert, travel, and costume (T-shirt) expenses.
